Where have we come from?

We embarked on this journey in 1994 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands when we were called Het Venster. As a firm of accountants we wanted to send personalised printed newsletters to our clients on a regular basis as a way of improving communications. Upon its success we started offering the service to our competitors.

By 2002 accountancy firms were finding that there was a wealth of free information sitting on the Internet and wondering what was relevant, how to use it to advertise their services and drum up more business. With firms wanting to send emails to clients rather than printed newsletters, we developed Informanagement which is an online database covering all tax rules and legislation through individually created articles and summaries compiled on a weekly basis by our in-house tax editorial team. The application allows you to provide your clients and staff, in an optimised way, with this information as if it has come directly from you. All without the hassle of creating it!

With hundreds of firms now using the service all over the Netherlands it was time for us to start spreading our wings – with England our first stop. Our London office covers sales, client implementation and editorial content.

Our dedicated team in London was set up in 2008 and the Informanagement service includes not just tax, but also content on a wider area of business advice, including HR, Health and Safety, Corporate Governance, Regulation and Company Secretarial.

Such is our determination to reinvigorate the market for content provision, that in May 2009 we took over UKtaxworld creating the 4th largest content supplier to accountancy firms in the UK. We are now supporting accountants from Aberdeen to Wadebridge in Cornwall and everywhere in between.
